Wonderful conceptual piece that spills over nicely in to horror/macabre photography, and my pleasure to share it with you!

This picture is a very powerful one. I love how the bleeding originates from the heart-shaped cut. The blood's coloring is very realistic, and the cut looks just as realistic. The cup doesn't look transparent though, it looks a bit translucent, like slightly tinted glass. The blood droplets around the cup also look too much like spheres, as if it had the consistency of liquid mercury. But these are minor detractors in an overall excellent artistic photograph. I love the idea of the blood dripping into a wine glass, very creative and emotional. I love this picture, and I favorited it. Very well done.

I want to say first off that I REALLLY like this picture. The blood's coloring is quite accurate and the way it drips down gives a very nice effect. the eye is led downwards to the glass.

The only issue I see is that the glass is quite dark and fades into the dark backdrop perhaps a tad too much. However; I think it is simply that your lighting focus was strictly at the top, causing it to fade a little too dark at the bottom. My suggestion would be to add a secondary light source (with a fainter light; not as bright as the upper lighting on the feet) so simply lighten and bring out the red in the wine glass and the spillings around the base.

Other than that one very slight issue; I sincerely enjoy this piece and have added it to my favorites. Congrats on the DD!
