Vision & Originality: Who would have thought that a bottle (3/4 full LOL!) of coca cola, can give or continue the life of a flower? Hahaha. In this case, you've got my vote for a very original artwork! The flower you used in here is nice. It's really a nice work. Good job on this dear friend!
Technique: First, great job on the objects you used in here. You used perfect objects, it's like they're meant for each other. Haha. The white background is a great idea too when showing such conceptualized work. I would have wanted though if the objects are not exactly in the "middle." Well, maybe for me, but great job still.
Overall, you've done very well. Very original indeed!
Is that aiming at our zero-calories-eating habits of nowadays? That only zero calories food can make beauty people? That'd be an possible interpreation, I guess. If that was your intent than it would've been nice to have two pics next to each other here: one where you just put the flower in the bottle and one of maybe a day later where the flower would look pretty f*cked up. The way it is it is quite nice to look at. I fail to see a "real" message here, though. But a good start for sure and nice colour scheme.
Mmm, no, it is more about the perseverance of nature towards our "artificial" society. Take it as that little sprout that grows in a crack on the pavement. Hence the word "tolerance" in the title, it's about that flower staying alive and beautiful even when living in that artificial liquid that can even unscrew rusty bolts.
Oh, now I get it. May be my fault than, or the message just didn't came naturally. May also be heavilily influced by my perception of Coke Zero and the people (girls...) that drink the stuff. If you've chosen the orginal coke I might've gotten it. But the "Zero" is kinda distracting, it seems (though it works well with your title). Dilemma, I guess.
Nah, you are right, a regular coke bottle would have worked better, but that one was the only one I had around! I've learned my lesson since and I am more careful at choosing my props now
